Common Questions Before Getting in Touch

We aim to respond to all enquiries within one working day — and usually much faster. If you submit an enquiry in the morning, you can typically expect a response the same day. We understand that when you are in a property chain, time is of the essence.
Not at all. Just tell us about the property — its age, type, size and any concerns you may have — and we will recommend the most appropriate survey. We would rather take the time to advise you properly than have you commission a survey that does not meet your needs. You can also read our guide to choosing the right survey for more information.
All our quotes are fixed-fee. Once you receive a quote from us, that is the price you pay — no hidden extras, no surprises on the invoice. The only exception would be if the property turns out to be significantly different from how it was described (for example, much larger than stated), in which case we would discuss any adjustment with you before proceeding.
It is generally better not to be present during the survey, as your surveyor will need to inspect the property methodically and in full concentration. However, we are happy to meet you at the end of the inspection for a brief verbal debrief before the formal report is issued. Please just mention this when booking.
